The Deep State of Public Health has been created to provide information that should not be lost to the public regarding what has been learned through various investigations and inquiries; as well s to provide the observations of those who have been on the front lines of identifying the existence of the Deep State and its players.

There is concurrence on this site with Abraham Lincoln’s frequently recounted belief in the power of informed people. He is often quoted as having said, “I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crisis. The great point is to bring them the real facts”.

Looking into the source of the quote provides that what President Lincoln actually said was recounted by a contemporary, Rev. Edward N. Kirk, in May 1865. Kirk recalled a conversation with Lincoln from July 1864, where the president expressed his faith in the public.  Lincoln reportedly said: “I have faith in the people. They will not consent to disunion. The danger is, they are misled. Let them know the truth, and the country is safe”.

When we revisit where the United States was in 1864, divided and on the brink of Civil War and reflect where the nation and the world are early 21st Century, President’s Lincoln’s faith in the people of the country as well as his concern for misinformation directing the decision-making correlate to where we stand today.

When in comes to health policy and public health, what we see on television, hear on radio, read in newspapers and magazines, and see in social media is more often than the public realizes carefully scripted by an organized group of well funded, well positioned deep staters who seek to achieve the public buy in for their issue of the day.

There is no sitting on the sidelines today – we can either be part of the problem or part of the solution. Our choice is to be part of the solution.
